March 12. 4 months and 11 days.
That’s when my little man became mobile! McBean does the commando thing and can easily get from one side of the room to the other, though still not very fast, as well as going around and around in circles. There’s no longer much point putting a rug down… he only stays on it for a few seconds. It’s only a matter of time before he’s chasing us all around the house.
He also gets up on all fours and rocks a bit, and gets up on his elbows and toes as well. At this point, he does the plank better than I can!
He’s also discovered that he can move around in his cot, so spends quite some time playing in his cot with his bears before going to sleep (which he now prefers to do independently, yay!), and on waking too. It’s so lovely to go in to be greeted by a smiley little boy.
He loves to stick his arms and legs out of the gaps between the cot railings, especially the single foot that he manages to get through the seat belt hole in his sleeping bag without fail.
He can also sit independently too, though only for short periods before he topples.
I’m so enjoying watching my amazing little guy grow and develop, though I am surprised that it’s happening so quickly!
And I just can’t believe that 1. McBean will be five months this week and 2. FenFox is turning NINE this weekend!
