Europe has the same seasons as the US. Here in Australia we run opposite to that, so we are in Spring, heading into summer.
Technically here in Melbourne we are in a temperate band, which should mean reasonably mild seasons, but all it means in practice now is blistering long summers and mild dry winters which feel cold because it’s so hot all the rest of the time.
Right now it’s 10.30 in the morning and it’s already over 30 C (86 F) – we’ve had a couple of days around 35 C now (95 F). And it’s still spring…

So I have a question…this may sound super crazy but what season is it right now in Europe? What’s the next season? Here in the US it’s fall/autumn and we are heading into winter. Maybe I’m just crazy and confused but I thought you said in this post the complete opposite of the seasons here!
